Process
Designing a virtual representation of a corporate entity should not be an inpersonal task, but rather an exploration.

Our designers and illustrators can offer premium service by allowing the customer to address the layout and formatting while dictating the content as the project is assembled. This is especially important when the customer needs something designed urgently. Although this is great for smaller, simple projects, like a business card which would take up to 20 minutes to complete, it is unrealistic to do the whole design of complex projects entirely in the company of the designer. For projects taking lasting longer than 90 minutes, a quote will be needed to be written and approved before the job is undertaken. This is a good thing as true inspiration can come to a visually minded person at idle hours. From the initial meeting to updates for the new product line, it is important to keep objective orientated, and continue to purvey the same facade. Depending on varying circumstances, some projects take different paths of construction than others. However, for the most part, there is an underlining trend within the initial and gradual changes and steps that lead toward the desired result of a professionally designed and optimally functional website or tastefully complex print design.
  1. Initial Meeting - At this time, intention, purpose and possibilities are discussed. Brainstorming, in light of the budget, will allow us to plan a balanced and effectively functional web presence or advertisement for print.
  2. Content Compiled - If it hasn't been done already, this is when the customer compiles content and supplies the designer with all pertinent information. (Marketing media including existing logos and client's design ideas, sitemap, page content, product information...)
  3. Quote - Based on what was discussed, a detailed project outline is drawn up. Once a set price for the project is agreed upon, half of the total ammount is due and construction begins.
  4. Initial Graphic Layout - The designer creates a look and feal to the website reflecting the corporate identity and intention. This will most likely take the form of one or more static image files.
  5. Design Changes/Approval - At this time the client brings up any questions or concerns of the look, feal, operation, or presetation of the designers layout. Depending on the input of the customer, the designer will either then go back and make any changes or, go forward and disect the layout into a functioning website.
  6. Content Added - The website is made navigable and the textual content is added to the individual pages.
  7. Content Reviewed - The designer will notify the client of the completeness of the site and will address any questions about completeness.
  8. Completion - Once the website fully reviewed and is determined to be complete, it will be moved from its temporary location, to its final public domain. Once the site is made live to the public, it will be submitted to search engines and the job will be done, the client will recieve a report of the site and a recipt. At this time the rest of the ammount due will be billed. Likewise, for print design. After approval the file will go to the printer to be shipped to the desination of your specifications.
Sometimes the excitement of finding the perfect domain in conjunction with a promising marketing opportunity leads to a need to set up a website before knowing what it will do. Such a technique secures your name registration and can act as a placeholder, with a logo and contact information, before the website is fully conceived. In order to activate such a website without a contract or signed quote, a $50 setup fee is required.
